Items of Interest reported that Keep Terrebonne Beautiful (KTB), a prominent environmental advocacy organization, is leading the initiative to enhance the cleanliness and safety of Terrebonne Parish through the Bayou Grand Caillou White Boot Clean Up. The organization is calling for volunteers to join this significant event dedicated to clearing litter and debris from various areas.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Anchor Foursquare Church in Dulac, LA, the clean-up event will commence with registration from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., followed by the clean-up activities from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A celebration is planned from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to recognize the efforts of the volunteers.
"All volunteers will check in at Anchor Foursquare Church, receiving a complimentary event t-shirt (while supplies last) and gaining entrance to the after-party celebration," stated Items of Interest. The focus of the clean-up will be on specific zones along Bayou Grand Caillou to ensure a thorough removal of litter and debris.
