Utility Assistance Available for Qualifying Residents in Terrebonne Parish

The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government Department of Housing & Human Services has announced that utility assistance will be provided to qualifying low-income families on specific dates and locations in the region.

According to Housing and Human Services, the assistance will be available at various sites during the first week of April. The schedule is as follows:

- Monday, April 1, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Barry P. Bonvillain Civic Center, 346 Civic Center Blvd., Houma

- Tuesday, April 2, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ward 7, 5006 Hwy 56, Chauvin

- Wednesday, April 3, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Devon Keller Gym, 5575 Bayou Black Rd., Gibson

- Thursday, April 4, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Schriever Gym, 102 Kelsi Dr., Schriever

- Friday, April 5, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anchor Foursquare Church (old Grand Caillou Elementary), 6741 Grand Caillou Rd., Dulac

The department has specified that only 100 applications will be accepted per site, and doors will be closed promptly at 2 p.m. Housing and Human Services emphasized, "Only 100 applications will be taken per site." and "Doors will be locked at 2 p.m. No exceptions."
