Former Thibodaux High School standout Brody Trosclair took the field for his college team, the Northwestern State Demons, in their NCAA Division I baseball contest on Saturday, Feb. 28, where they were defeated 5-1 by the Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
The game, held at Brown–Stroud Field, marked the teams’ second meeting of the season. Northwestern State also dropped the previous matchup on Friday, Feb. 27, with a 7-5 loss to the Lions.
Trosclair contributed 3.1 innings on the mound, issuing one walk and striking out three batters.
Northwestern State is set to face Southeastern Louisiana again at Brown–Stroud Field on Sunday, March 1, at 1 p.m.
