Of the 2,784 citizens living in Lockport in 2019, 2,066 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 1,164 of those people were female and 902 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
