Of the 10,698 people living in Raceland in 2019, 50.6 percent (5,415) were women and 49.4 percent (5,283) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Houma-Thibodaux News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,371-to-3,148. In the 65 and over age range, there were 955 females and 872 males.
