LSU AgCenter to Offer Free Nutrition Lessons

The Terrebonne Parish Health Unit is hosting free nutrition courses this Summer! Once a month a representative from LSU-Ag will speak on different topics relating to nutrition.

Nutrition lessons will cover topics such as healthful eating and meal planning, managing food dollars, physical activity, and food safety.

Courses will be held on June 14, July 12, and August 9 at the Terrebonne Parish Health Unit located at 600 Polk St., Houma, LA 70360.

These courses are free to the public and no registration is required.

St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church will host a Blue and Red Mass honoring local law enforcement and first responders on April 18. A vehicle blessing by Father AL and a reception will follow the ceremony.
