St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Pierre Part will hold a Blue and Red Mass honoring Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office employees, firefighters, and first responders on Saturday, April 18, beginning at 4:00 p.m., according to an announcement made on April 15.
The event is organized to recognize the service of law enforcement officers and emergency personnel in Assumption Parish. The mass aims to bring together members of these professions for a blessing and community support.
Attendees who have patrol units are encouraged to drive them to the church for a special vehicle blessing by Father AL. After the mass and vehicle blessing, there will be a reception held in the church hall.
