Terrebonne Parish recorded an unemployment rate of 6.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 3,323 people out of the 110,100 living in Terrebonne Parish at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Terrebonne Parish has increased compared to the 6.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Terrebonne Parish was nearly equal to the statewide unemployment rate of 6.7%.

Of the 46,455 people who had a job during that time, 259 were employed in the Armed Forces and 46,196 belonged to the civilian labor force.
