Due to the forecasted weather system scheduled to impact Terrebonne Parish this week, all athletic activities sponsored and/or managed by the Athletics & Leisure Division will be canceled on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, and Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Athletic offices will be closed on Wednesday as staff finalizes preparations at various facilities.
The cancellations include all football and cheer practices, volleyball practices and games, open gym times, and any other parish recreation activities.
All gyms and fields are being prepared for storm rain and wind and will be closed on those advertised dates.
Activities for Thursday, September 12, will be announced on Thursday depending on the impact of the weather in Terrebonne Parish.
Terrebonne Parish Government reminds residents to review their individual storm plans, prepare as much as possible ahead of the weather, and stay safe during severe weather events.
