There were two gas stations in cities across Terrebonne Parish selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $2.63 per gallon in the week ending Feb. 28, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Midgrade gas prices averaged $2.92 per gallon in Terrebonne Parish.
Of the 87 reported gas stations located within Terrebonne Parish, nine offered midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Louisiana was $2.87, unchanged from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
