Deputy Gail Richard retired from Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office after over 19 years of service. She managed operations at Pierre Part Substation and coordinated training requirements. The office recognized her contributions with a commemorative plaque.
Assumption Parish Deputy Adam Mayon received the Marine Corps League’s ‘Deputy of the Year’ award on April 15. Sheriff Leland Falcon praised Mayon’s dedication and service during a ceremony held at Patterson’s American Legion Hall.
St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church will host a Blue and Red Mass honoring local law enforcement and first responders on April 18. A vehicle blessing by Father AL and a reception will follow the ceremony.
