Terrebonne Parish had four gas stations selling premium gas at the lowest price of $2.99 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 31, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, premium gas averaged $3.23 per gallon.
Among 87 gas stations in cities within Terrebonne Parish, eight offered premium gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of premium gas in Louisiana was $3.23, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
