In anticipation of Tropical Storm Francine, the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (TPCG) has issued an emergency declaration. The measure aims to secure access to necessary resources for an effective response to the impending storm.
"This declaration will ensure that we have proper access to a number of resources that may be needed in order to respond effectively to this event," stated officials from the Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness.
The declaration is intended to facilitate a coordinated and efficient response as the region braces for potential impacts from Tropical Storm Francine.
