This closure was confirmed by the office, stating, "Terrebonne Parish Permits office will be closed for a few hours this Friday, April 26th, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for staff training."

Despite the closure, the office assured the public that online services will continue to be available. According to the office, "Online services will continue to be available."

Furthermore, the office highlighted the benefits of TPCG's online permitting portal, emphasizing that it greatly enhances the permit application submittal and payment experience for contractors and residents. The office stated, "TPCG's online permitting portal greatly enhance the permit application submittal and payment experience for contractors and residents. All permit types are available to apply online except burial permits." Additionally, they mentioned that "The ability to pay balances online with a credit card is also available for all permit types."

Contractors and residents are encouraged to utilize the online services during the temporary closure of the permits office on April 26th.
