The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library will host an Inventory Reduction Book Sale from August 9 to 11, 2024, at the Main Library located at 151 Library Drive. The sale will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Items will be priced at $5 per bag, provided by the organization. Both cash and card payments will be accepted. Patrons can browse through a selection of books and audiobooks. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the programming of the Terrebonne Parish Library System, including activities for the Summer Reading Program, performers, and a bike giveaway.
"The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library aim to help obtain high-quality programs for children and adults and to make the library more visible in the community," said a representative from the organization.
Patrons are encouraged to join the Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library.
