The Terrebonne Parish Public Library is set to host the "Books for the Bayou 2024" event on Saturday, November 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Main Library. The event invites book enthusiasts from across the parish to meet local authors, purchase books locally, and discover new reading material while supporting community writers.

Refreshments will be available, and entry is free for everyone. Local authors interested in promoting and selling their books at the event are encouraged to register. However, registration does not guarantee approval as a library representative will contact applicants with their decision.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is advised. The deadline for registration is 5 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024. This program is open to the public and free of charge.
