Terrebonne Parish Main Library is organizing a toy swap event aimed at encouraging families to exchange pre-loved toys, thereby reducing waste. The initiative allows participants to clear out clutter and provide gently used toys with new homes, while also assisting community members on tight budgets in a sustainable manner.

Families are invited to drop off clean-as-new toys at the Main Library’s Arts and Crafts Room from November 18 to 27 during regular business hours.

The free toy swap event is scheduled for December 1 at the Main Library from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., where attendees can select a "new-to-you" toy that may better suit their children.

For further details, individuals can reach out to Youth Services Supervisor Megan Hutchinson at 985-876-5861 ext. 242 or via email at mhutchinson@mytpl.org.
