The Terrebonne Parish Library is hosting Cajun Heritage and Music Month throughout January. This event, free and open to families, includes live music performances, dance lessons, and language classes focused on Cajun culture.

The initiative aims to honor and preserve the vibrant traditions of the Cajun community. The celebration is supported by the Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library, with funding provided by the Jazz and Heritage Foundation Community Partnership Grant.

For those interested in participating, a flyer detailing the schedule for live music events, dance sessions, and Cajun French language lessons is available.
