Cost of college was unchanged for all students at South Louisiana Beauty College

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at South Louisiana Beauty College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $16,388 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 19 students received grants or scholarships totaling $75,079 and 11 students took out student loans totaling more than $55,846.

Including all undergraduates (50), 43 students used grants or scholarships totaling $172,353, and 35 students took out $196,599 in federal student loans.
